Navajo Naja Pendant by Danny Clark

$1,975.00

It's thought that the classic crescent-shaped "Naja" pendant was introduced to Native Americans by the Spanish Conquistadors and originated in old Moorish designs. The pendant shape crops up in the jewelry of a number of Southwestern tribes, most notably utilized in Navajo (Dine) squash blossom necklaces.  Our current Naja necklace was created by Navajo jeweler Danny Clark and incorporates engraved "Navajo Pearl" beads and a floating inner pendant of Bisbee turquoise.

3 ¾" w. X 2 ⅜" w. with Bisbee Turquoise center pendant and a 24" sterling silver hollow bead chain.
